How to copy-trade BRAINX BOT on OKX
Copy-trading on OKX is native: your funds never leave your own account, and every position is mirrored automatically. This walkthrough takes about ten minutes from a fresh OKX account to your first followed trade.
Before you start
- An OKX account with completed KYC (most regions support copy-trading; check local rules).
- USDT in your Futures wallet — start with an amount you can afford to lose.
- About 10 minutes for the initial setup.
The 6 steps
- Create or log in to an OKX account
Sign up at okx.com or open the OKX app and complete identity verification (KYC). Copy-trading requires a verified futures account.
- Fund your USDT futures wallet
Transfer USDT into your Futures (Perpetual) wallet. For the loss-back program, keep the follow amount at or below 1,000 USDT.
- Search for BRAINX BOT
In the OKX app, open Copy Trading and search for the trader name 'BRAINX BOT'. Open the profile and review the live equity curve and trade history.
- Set your follow amount and risk caps
Choose a fixed-margin follow size (recommended for first-time followers). Set a maximum loss per trade and a maximum total drawdown so OKX automatically stops copying if breached.
- Activate copy trading
Confirm the follow settings. From the next signal onwards, OKX will mirror BRAINX BOT positions into your account in real time. You can pause or unfollow at any moment.
- Review weekly, withdraw monthly
Check the profit-share statement inside OKX. Performance fees (20% of net new profit) are deducted automatically by OKX — there is no off-exchange payment.
How to size your follow amount
A common mistake is following with too much capital, too early. We recommend a three-phase ramp:
- Weeks 1–2: 100–300 USDT. Goal is to verify execution and slippage on your own account.
- Weeks 3–6: up to 1,000 USDT — still inside the loss-back window if you qualify.
- After week 6: scale based on your own observed Sharpe and max-drawdown comfort, not on past returns.
Fees, in plain language
BRAINX BOT charges only a 20% performance fee on net new profit. If your followed equity does not exceed its previous high-water mark, no fee is taken. OKX deducts the fee automatically at the end of each profit-share period — there is no invoice, no manual transfer, and no off-platform payment.
How to stop or pause
You can pause or unfollow inside the OKX app at any time. Existing open positions can be closed manually or left for the strategy to close. There is no lock-up period and no cancellation fee.
