Risk Disclosure
This page is maintained by the BRAINX BOT operator to explain the risks tied to cryptocurrency trading, copy trading on OKX, and the SOL-focused strategy published on brainxbot.app. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice. Please read it carefully before deciding whether to copy trade or allocate capital.
1. Not financial advice
All content on brainxbot.app — including performance history, strategy descriptions, market analysis, and educational posts — is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any asset, or a solicitation to enter any trade. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions.
2. Cryptocurrency trading risks
Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and can move sharply against open positions. Prices can be affected by liquidity gaps, exchange outages, network congestion, regulatory news, and macro events. You may lose part or all of the capital you allocate to copy trading.
- Volatility can cause rapid and significant losses.
- Liquidity conditions can widen spreads and increase slippage.
- Exchange outages or API delays may prevent order execution at expected prices.
- Stablecoins and margin assets carry their own credit, peg, and counterparty risks.
3. Copy trading on OKX
BRAINX BOT operates as a lead trader on the OKX exchange. When you copy trade, orders are executed inside your own OKX account using your own capital. BRAINX BOT does not hold your funds, but you are exposed to the same trades and market outcomes as the lead account.
Copy-trading parameters such as position size, leverage, margin mode, and stop settings are controlled by you within OKX. Misconfigured settings can increase losses beyond what the lead account experiences. Make sure you understand OKX's copy-trading rules and fees before you start.
4. Strategy-specific risks
The BRAINX BOT strategy currently trades SOL/USDT. Concentrating exposure in a single cryptocurrency and trading pair increases correlation risk: if SOL underperforms the broader market, the strategy is likely to underperform as well.
- Single-asset exposure can lead to larger drawdowns than diversified portfolios.
- Short positions carry theoretically unlimited loss risk if prices rise sharply.
- Automated systems can behave unexpectedly during extreme market events or data anomalies.
The system monitors multiple market indicators, but no model can predict every market regime or prevent all losses.
5. Technology and execution risks
Automated trading depends on data feeds, exchange APIs, internet connectivity, and software logic. Errors, delays, or outages in any of these components can cause missed trades, delayed exits, or unintended positions. Backtests and historical simulations are not live guarantees.
6. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results
Any performance figures shown on the site, including the monthly trading history, are historical and unaudited. They illustrate how the strategy has performed under past market conditions. They do not guarantee, imply, or predict future returns.
Future performance is affected by market structure, liquidity, exchange policies, fees, and factors that may not have existed in the past. You should review the history, observe the strategy for a period you are comfortable with, and only allocate capital you can afford to lose.
7. Promotional offer and loss-cap terms
Specific promotional terms, including the optional loss-cap program for eligible participants, are described on the /promo page. Those terms are subject to eligibility, verification, and capacity limits, and they do not remove all trading risk. Even where a loss-cap applies, market volatility and exchange execution can affect your account balance before any protection is triggered. Read the full offer terms and the OKX platform rules before participating.
8. Regulatory, tax, and compliance
Cryptocurrency trading and copy trading may be restricted or regulated differently in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of OKX and BRAINX BOT content is lawful where you live. We do not provide tax advice; consult a qualified professional to understand your tax obligations.
9. Your responsibilities
- Use only capital you can afford to lose.
- Secure your OKX account with strong passwords, 2FA, and safe API settings.
- Review and adjust copy-trading settings to match your risk tolerance.
- Monitor your account regularly and be prepared to stop copying if conditions change.
- Do not rely on any historical return as a promise of future profit.
